Riding Right
Contest Specifics
The contest promotes responsible off-highway vehicle use and stewardship
of School and Institutional Trust Lands, and Utah State Parks and
Recreation Safe OHV Riding Rules.
Winning videos will be used by SITLA and Utah State Parks to
communicate the importance of protecting and respecting SITLA lands, and
share safe OHV riding messages.
Winning videos will earn students cash and prizes for themselves, their
teachers and schools. *No taxpayer money is used for prizes.
 The Ride On! Video Contest is open from March 1 through
May 13, 2011.
The contest will be judged by the Utah OHV Advisory Council in these
categories: 1. Elementary; 2. Secondary / Junior –Middle; 3. High
School; and 4. Post-Secondary.
Prizes in each category: $500 cash for first place; $375 gift
certificate for second place; and $250 gift certificate for third
place.
Also, for the first-place winners, the teacher and school of the
elementary, junior-middle, and high schools win $500 cash. Click
